1. Legal framework
This Personal Data Processing Policy is governed by Law No. 29733, the Peruvian Personal Data Protection Law, and its Regulations, approved by Supreme Decree No. 016-2024-JUS, as well as by the directives of Peru’s National Authority for Personal Data Protection.
2. Owner of the personal data bank
FIORELLA ACEVEDO GARCÍA (RUC 10442597087), with its address at Servicio Online, owner of the FIORAVIA brand, maintains a personal data bank with the contact and project management information of the individuals and companies that request its translation and language editing services.
3. Personal data processed
The data processed consists of identification and contact information (name, company, email address), details of the assignment (service, languages, required date, message) and, when you attach them, the documents to be translated or reviewed, which may contain third parties’ personal data. In the Complaints Book we also process the identification and contact data required by consumer protection regulations.
4. Purpose of the processing
The data is processed in order to:
- Answer enquiries and prepare quotes
- Provide the translation, specialized translation and language editing services requested
- Manage the business relationship, invoicing and communication about the project
- Handle claims and complaints from the Complaints Book
- Comply with legal obligations inherent to our activity
5. Consent
Processing is carried out with your free, prior, express and informed consent, which you give by ticking the Privacy Policy acceptance box on our forms. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to fiorella@fioraviaservices.com, without retroactive effect.
6. Processors and cross-border flows
To provide the service we may use technology providers (web hosting, email) and professionals who collaborate on projects, who process the data on behalf of FIORAVIA and under a duty of confidentiality. Where any of them is located outside Peru, we make sure that the recipient offers an adequate level of protection, in accordance with the applicable rules.
7. Retention period
The data will be kept for the duration of the service relationship and, afterwards, for the periods required by the regulations in force in Peru. Documents delivered for translation are kept only for as long as the project requires.
8. Data subject rights and how to exercise them
As a data subject, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection, and the other rights recognised by Law No. 29733 and its Regulations, by sending a request to fiorella@fioraviaservices.com, stating your full name, a copy of your identity document, the right you wish to exercise and a way to contact you.
9. Security measures
We implement reasonable technical, legal and organisational security measures to prevent unauthorised access to, loss of or alteration of the personal data in our custody.
10. Supervisory authority
If you believe your rights have not been properly addressed, you may lodge a complaint with the National Authority for Personal Data Protection of Peru’s Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.
